PDFs grow fast when they embed fonts, images and scans. A multi-megabyte PDF is slow to upload and may bounce off email limits.
To shrink a PDF, you can reduce the embedded images before assembling, or re-encode the images inside it. Bagiqo does not host a single dedicated PDF-compress page, but you can apply its image tools to the standalone images first (see the image optimizer), then combine pages with merge PDF.
Practical steps
- Compress large images first with the image optimizer.
- Reassemble the PDF with merge PDF if it was built from separate images.
- Confirm the result opens cleanly.
Keep in mind
- Text-only PDFs are already small — shrinking them rarely helps.
- The image content is usually where the weight lives.
- Do not strip anything you need for print quality.
