Decode barcodes from image files and URLs. A short guide to scanning barcodes online with the Bagiqo barcode reader.
Barcodes store a small amount of data in a pattern of lines that scanners read back as numbers or text. When you need the value inside a barcode you have as an image — a product, a ticket or a label — you can decode it without special hardware.
The barcode reader accepts an image of a barcode and returns the encoded value.
How to use it
- Open the barcode reader.
- Upload the image or provide a URL.
- Read the decoded value.
Typical use
- Pulling a product code from a photo.
- Checking a ticket or serial barcode.
- Verifying a barcode you generated.
For 2D codes, use the QR code reader instead.
